eXer 6 aND 7...greAt LearNing fOr mE!

In our exercise #6 in HTML, I have learned on how to put background color on my web page. In exercise #7, applying background picture was the one I've learned. These activities were very great for me because I had gained another knowledge about HTML.

In doing these activities, I had also encountered a little bit problem. One was that I don't know where to place the tags. Another was I can't easily understand the instructions in applying the background picture.

To address or solve my problem, I ask the help of my classmate. I ask on how to do the applying of background picture on my web page.

Moving on I will study in advance our next lesson on HTML so that I will know what I am doing to our next lesson.

_SemBreak?!_

After the second quarter of schooling, we had our sembreak. This break aims to have the students a recreation for them to take a rest or leisure time in other things aside from their studies.

After the second periodical test, October 25,2008, I started my semestral break. But I think I won't call it a break because I attended the Division Seminar Workshop on Children's Peace. It was sponsored by the SSG and was held at the ISNHS gymnasium. I enjoyed the seminar because it was not too boring. The next day, I had also attended the ''adopt a child'' still in connection to the children's peace celebration. I had also attended the Seminar Workshop on Young Journalist for 'Ang Busilak sa Himpapawid' which was the official school newspaper of our school. I had also enjoyed this seminar because I learned much things on it specially in writting some articles, and i had also the time to have bonding with my friends. After these seminars, I had already my full rest. I just did nothing aside from texting, eating, sleeping, watching tv shows, and strolling with my friends.

I had also met some problems like, I was scolded with my father, I have no money to buy load for my cellphone. But, inspite of these problems, I still enjoy my semestral break because I just focused on enjoying.

I discovered also a very challenging and adventurous thing. This challenging and adventurous thing I am reffering to was my very first time ever to climb in a very high mountain. Last August 30, 2008 I and the other scouters climb the Radar Sattelite Station at Taleb, bantay , Ilocos sur. We climed the mountain in four hours. It was very nice climbing a very high mountain.

While we are climbing, I experienced many problems. I was easily get tired. At first I was thinking of backout, but I want to finish the challenge so I continue what I have started.

Hypertext mark-up language or so called HTML was the lesson I've enjoyed so much. All web pages contains instructions for display and the most common display instructions are called HTML tags. It was amazing for me because I just typed the HTML tags with an element content in the notepad (HTML editor) and after that I had alrwady made my web page.

With this, I have also encounterd problem like when I missed to type one HTML tag, my web page will become blank. I addressed this problem by simply reading and typing every HTML tags and element comtent carefully.

I will explore and study more things about HTML so that I can make a very beautiful and well-organized web page.

MY EXPERIENCE IN THE TEST

Our first major examination had already finished. This examination tends to measure what we have learned in first quarter of studying. Some of our test was very diffiocult specially in Mathematics. I got low score in this subject. But most of them were easy for me just like in English, Social Studies and Values. After our first periodical test comes the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE). This tess will help us to choose on what career will we prefer for our better future.

During this examination, I met some problems like having mental block. I have forgotten the answers as I am taking up the test. One more thing was the time pressure. When the bell rings, our advicer collects our test paper even if we havn't finished yet. In the NCAE, I met the same problen too. Our test was under time pressure.

I was able to cope up with these problems by having my mind relax. I'll just focused on my test. And also reading and analyzing the questions as fast as I could.

To improve my scores better, I'll study harder. I will listen and understand what my teacher says, and take time and concentrate on what I am reviewing.

my new learnigs

The new learnings that I have learned are: the history of internet, what are the uses of internet for all of us, advantages and disadvantages of internet, and how to surf the internet. I have also learned on how to make yahoo mail and blog.

One of the problems/challenges that I have encountered is there is so many repetition I have done specially in making my yahoo mail. And also there is always internet trafficking that always make us wait.

It was easier for me to accomplish these challenges by listening to my teacher while she was discussing, taking down notes and searching some information about that problem.

Moving on, I will do all my best for this lesson because it was very important to me.
